This is a Hybrid Course. What does that mean?

Hybrid courses have the first part of the course live with lectures over Microsoft Teams. The second part is assisted with guided labs where we setup the labs and have support available for the labs during business hours. An instructor also remains available to answer any questions. The labs have more flexible scheduling.
What are the working hours for support team?

We pride ourselves on our service and teaching experience. A dedicated service desk at Instructor Brandon is available for assistance 8 hours a day (from Monday to Friday). Instructor support is also available during this time for any questions.
How do the videos differ in this course as opposed to some of the traditional video courses offered?

Due to the fact that this course happens in Azure, we've found that the most effective way to do this course is live. 2 weeks of video access over the recorded lecture is available after the course, but we highly encourage attending the 2 days of lecture over Teams with live sessions. All lectures are practical based with extensive demonstrations.
What will you learn in this course?

In this course, you will learn how to create dashboards and work with the data model for Dynamics 365 in a Data Lake environment. You will also learn prerequisites for being successful in a modern data lake like Synapse SQL.
Please explain the schedule breakdown

Our blended learning course is designed to provide the benefits of live instruction but with the flexibility of minimizing disruptions to work. The course is designed to take one full week of learning with an extra week of lab availability as a grace period for learning. Day 1 (always Friday): Live Lecture for 8 hours along with walkthroughs (you will spend 4 hours following along with the instructor while principles are demonstrated through practical experience) Day 2 (always Saturday): Live Lecture for 8 hours with walkthroughs (you will spend 4 hours following along with the instructor while principles are demonstrated through practical experience) Week 1: There are 24 hours of labs left to be finished at your own time. We are available for support during standard business hours (9AM till 6PM CST time) Week 2: Backup Week in case you need another week to finish up. Offers an excellent week to finish up the labs.
Can I extend my labs for another week?

Yes, an ‘Extension Fee’ covers all the costs of your licenses and support; so for a fee of $600, you can extend your lab time for an additional week.
How long do I have access to the course?

The recorded course videos over the lectures will be available for 2 weeks. Labs will be available for 2 weeks and one week after the labs. The lab steps and solution files are yours and can be repeated by simply setting up an Azure Data Lake Connection, Power BI, and Dynamics 365.
Are there any special licenses being offered during training?

We provide our students with the licenses needed for the course labs and access to Azure.
What if I miss the instructor live lecture, interactive demos, and live questions?

Please reschedule the course. We will allow this if you are not able to make the course after the booking. The course will run at least 4 times during the year and each version of the course is updated with the newest and latest changes. We do not recommend taking this course without attending the 2 live Instructor Sessions. These will save countless hours on learning. Support staff will also be there to help with the interactive walkthrough demonstrations.
When is the deadline to register for the course?

This course deadline will be 5 days before the run date. If you miss the deadline, please send a message to support asking to be notified for the next date that the course runs. We will send out a notification when that happens and you can register for the course.
