The production order, batch order, or Kanban is the first step in the life cycle of manufacturing. It concludes with a completed, produced object that is ready to be sent to a client or moved to the next production stage. Each stage of the life cycle needs a unique kind of information to be completed. This mini-course will teach you about fundamental concepts such as establishing, initiating and completing production orders, as well as insights into managing subcontracting operations.
